A brighter smile with professional teeth whitening in West London
Around 40% of people are dissatisfied with the colour of their teeth. This can be due to general discoloration that comes with age, or staining caused by habits like smoking, drinking red wine, and coffee. Even some medications can change the colour of your teeth.
Teeth whitening is a popular cosmetic dentistry treatment aimed at improving the colour of your teeth and enhancing the overall appearance of your smile, giving you more confidence. At Siha Dental and Facial, we offer two teeth-whitening treatments to help you achieve the whiter and more appealing smile you're looking for: Enlighten and Boutique teeth whitening.

Enlighten teeth whitening
Enlighten is the only teeth whitening system to offer a VITA B1 shade guarantee. The VITA index is a swatch made up of 16 varying shades and colours, with B1 as the whitest natural shade.
Enlighten is an at-home treatment with a very simple treatment journey.
Attend your free consultation appointment so that we can assess the original colour of your teeth and talk to you about your whitening goals.
Once you’ve decided to proceed with Enlighten, come into our practice to have moulds taken. These will be used to make your bespoke whitening trays.
Once they are ready, pick up your custom-made trays and Enlighten kit.
Start your at-home treatment. Whitening gel is placed into your bespoke trays, which are then placed over your teeth. Treatment should take place nightly for 14 nights.
Complete your treatment with Enlighten week 3 gel, which is worn for an hour per day to seal in the whiteness. You’ll also be provided with Enlighten White toothpaste to help you maintain your results.
Boutique teeth whitening
A globally renowned teeth whitening system, Boutique whitening uses professional-grade whitening gels to remove stains, lighten and brighten the teeth to help you achieve the smile of your dreams. This is achieved using bespoke whitening trays that are worn over your teeth.
The treatment journey for teeth whitening with Boutique is also very straightforward.
Visit us for a comprehensive examination and a discussion about your whitening goals.
Once you’ve decided to go ahead with Boutique teeth whitening, you’ll visit us so we can take impressions of your teeth for your whitening trays to be made, and for us to do any preparatory work such as a professional clean or restoring any cavities.
You’ll be recommended to use a special toothpaste in your trays for several weeks prior to whitening, and again during the whitening process. This helps to optimise the whitening process.
Pick up your whitening trays and start using them at home exactly as directed. How these should be worn will depend on the strength of whitening gel recommended to you.

How much does teeth whitening cost?
Are you ready to invest in a whiter, brighter and more attractive smile? The cost of teeth whitening can vary between patients and depend on the whitening treatment that is best for you and whether or not you require any preparatory work. Teeth whitening frequently asked questions
Stains and discolouration occur when coloured molecules found within things like coffee, wine and tobacco that enter our mouths stick to the surface of the teeth. While brushing and flossing will help remove some of them, sometimes the staining can reach deeper layers within the teeth, making them much harder to shift.
In many cases, people are advised to have an appointment for a professional cleaning with our hygienist before they start whitening treatment. This is because teeth whitening is most effective on teeth that are free from plaque and tartar. A professional dental clean creates a clear canvas for the whitening to work and helps to ensure consistent results across your entire smile.
Choosing professional teeth whitening at Siha Dental, rather than over-the-counter solutions, can significantly reduce your risk of damaging your teeth or gums.
Teeth whitening doesn’t change the colour of any dental restorations, such as crowns, bridges, composites or dental veneers.
The results of teeth whitening vary between individuals. Our team will provide advice to help you to maintain the results of your treatment for as long as possible.
The process of having your teeth whitened isn’t painful. However, whitening can cause sensitivity to the teeth and gums. The toothpastes that are provided alongside both whitening treatments that we offer are designed to help reduce this sensitivity, but if you have concerns, please do speak to our dental team.
